Bambu Lab H2C — Multi-Material 3D Printer with Automatic Hotend Changing
The Bambu Lab H2C is a large-format H Series 3D printer equipped with the Vortek Hotend Change system. This system enables the printer to automatically exchange compatible hotends during a print for different colors and materials.
The hotend-changing approach is designed to reduce purged material and waste during multi-material printing. It can be used to combine multiple colors, materials with different properties, and dedicated support materials within a single project.
The H2C offers a single-nozzle build area in the 325 mm class, while the total build area across its two nozzle positions is 330 × 320 × 325 mm. The exact usable area depends on the selected nozzle and printing mode.
With the appropriate configuration, the H2C also supports 10W and 40W laser modules. Existing H2D and H2S printers can be upgraded to the H2C system using the compatible Vortek Upgrade Kit.
