Bambu Lab X2D — Accessible Dual-Extruder 3D Printer
The Bambu Lab X2D is an enclosed 3D printer featuring two extrusion systems: a main direct-drive extruder and an auxiliary extruder. Its two-nozzle design allows users to combine different colors or compatible materials in a single model, including the use of a separate support material.
The build volume for main-nozzle printing is 256 × 256 × 260 mm. Its actively heated chamber can reach temperatures of up to 65°C, supporting work with engineering filaments when the appropriate printing conditions are used.
With a compatible AMS configuration, the X2D supports printing with up to 25 colors. Its servo extrusion system provides real-time control of the extrusion process.
The X2D is designed for users who need dual extrusion, multi-material capability, and an enclosed, actively heated printing chamber.
